Responsibilities
- Conduct rapid patient assessments via phone and in-person to determine urgency and appropriate care pathways
- Collaborate with physicians and specialists to develop immediate treatment plans
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) with detailed clinical documentation
- Provide empathetic patient education on home care and next steps
- Manage high-volume call centers while maintaining HIPAA compliance
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active Michigan RN license with minimum 2 years emergency/urgent care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Exceptional critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Strong communication skills in high-pressure environments
- BSN degree or higher preferred
