Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional patient care in diverse healthcare settings including ICU, ER, and specialty units
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement comprehensive treatment plans
- Adhere to strict protocols and maintain accurate medical documentation
- Provide mentorship and guidance to permanent staff during assignments
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and safety compliance
- Utilize advanced clinical skills in high-acuity patient scenarios
- Manage complex caseloads with minimal orientation support
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Virginia or compact state
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and relevant specialty certifications required
- BSN preferred (ADN accepted with experience)
- Proven ability to adapt quickly to new environments
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts including nights/weekends
