Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms and prioritize care based on acuity levels
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Utilize EHR systems to document triage decisions accurately
- Collaborate with physicians to coordinate patient flow and care plans
- Provide clear medical instructions and education to patients
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and hospital protocols
Qualifications
- Current Texas RN license (required)
- Minimum 2 years ER or urgent care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication abilities in English and Spanish
- Experience with Epic EHR systems preferred
- BSN degree preferred
