Responsibilities
- Assess patient conditions and prioritize care based on acuity using standardized triage protocols
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely interventions
- Document patient assessments, vital signs, and medical histories accurately in EMR systems
- Provide education to patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and hospital safety standards
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and emergency response drills
Qualifications
- Current Pennsylvania RN license with unrestricted status
- Minimum 3 years ED or urgent care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- Proficiency in Epic EMR systems
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication and de-escalation skills
- BSN degree preferred (ADN with relevant experience considered)
