Responsibilities
- Assess patients' medical conditions via phone triage and prioritize care based on urgency
- Collaborate with physicians to determine appropriate patient disposition
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Provide clear patient education on treatment plans and follow-up care
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient flow
- Respond to medical emergencies using established protocols
- Monitor and track patient wait times to ensure quality care standards
Qualifications
- Active NY RN license with minimum 2 years clinical experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong assessment skills and critical thinking abilities
- Experience with EHR systems (EPIC preferred)
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
- BSN degree preferred
