Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms and determine medical urgency using standardized protocols
- Triage incoming calls and in-person patients to prioritize care based on acuity
- Collaborate with physicians to develop appropriate patient care plans
- Maintain accurate documentation in Epic EHR systems
- Provide patient education on healthcare resources and next steps
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams for seamless patient flow
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Pennsylvania
- Minimum 3 years clinical nursing experience (ER/urgent care preferred)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Proficiency in electronic health records
- Excellent communication abilities in high-pressure situations
