Responsibilities
- Assess incoming patients using standardized triage protocols to determine urgency of care
- Collaborate with physicians and emergency staff to coordinate patient flow
- Document patient conditions accurately in electronic health records (EHR)
- Provide initial interventions and stabilize patients during critical moments
- Educate patients and families on emergency procedures and follow-up care
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and OSHA regulations
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Kentucky
- Minimum 2 years emergency department or triage experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner)
- Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments
