Responsibilities
- Perform rapid patient assessments via phone and in-person to determine medical urgency
- Provide evidence-based triage recommendations and direct patients to appropriate care levels
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient flow
- Maintain accurate electronic health records with precise documentation
- Delicate patient education on health resources and preventive care
- Manage high-volume call centers during peak times with exceptional efficiency
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Current Wisconsin RN license in good standing
- Minimum 3 years clinical experience with 1+ years in triage or emergency setting
- BSN or higher degree preferred (ADN candidates with exceptional experience considered)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Exceptional critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure in fast-paced environments
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
