Responsibilities
- Conduct rapid patient assessments and prioritize care based on acuity
- Provide clear medical guidance to patients via phone and telehealth
- Collaborate with physicians to develop effective care plans
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Coordinate patient flow through emergency and urgent care channels
- Educate patients on treatment protocols and preventive care
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Current California RN license (required)
- Minimum 2 years emergency/urgent care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Strong clinical decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and de-escalation abilities
- Experience with Epic EMR systems
- Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments
- BSN or higher preferred
