Responsibilities
- Perform rapid patient assessments using ESI and ATCN protocols
- Accurately triage patients based on acuity and clinical judgment
- Coordinate with physicians and specialists for critical cases
- Maintain detailed electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Provide clear patient education and discharge instructions
- Train and mentor new triage team members
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active FL RN license (required)
- 3+ years emergency room experience
- ACLS, TNCC, and ENPC certifications
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
- Exceptional communication and crisis management abilities
- Experience with Epic EHR systems
- BSN degree or higher preferred
