Responsibilities
- Assess patient acuity and prioritize emergency cases
- Perform comprehensive health screenings and initial evaluations
- Collaborate with physicians to determine appropriate care pathways
- Document patient encounters using EMR systems
- Provide education to patients and families about treatment plans
- Maintain accurate triage records and statistical data
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary care teams
Qualifications
- Valid New York State RN license
- Minimum 3 years emergency department experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in electronic health records
- Ability to work efficiently in high-stress environments
