Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for dental procedures and assist dentists during treatments
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Manage infection control protocols and sterilize instruments
- Maintain accurate patient records and digital charting
- Order dental supplies and manage inventory
- Provide post-operative instructions to patients
- Assist in front desk duties including scheduling and billing
Qualifications
- CDA (Certified Dental Assistant) or RDA (Registered Dental Assistant) required
- Minimum 2 years of clinical dental assisting experience
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Proficiency in dental software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft)
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and dental safety protocols
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
