Responsibilities
- Assess patients' medical conditions via phone and in-person using standardized protocols
- Urgency determination and appropriate prioritization of care across all patient demographics
- Documentation of patient interactions in EMR systems with precise clinical details
- Collaboration with physicians and care teams for seamless patient transitions
- Education of patients regarding home care, follow-up procedures, and red-flag symptoms
- Adherence to HIPAA compliance and regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Active Indiana RN license with unrestricted privileges
- Minimum 3 years clinical nursing experience with 1+ years in triage/ER setting
- BLS certification; ACLS and TNCC preferred
- Exceptional critical thinking and communication abilities
- Proficiency in Epic EMR systems
- Ability to maintain composure in high-pressure emergency situations
