Responsibilities
- Perform rapid patient assessments and prioritize care based on acuity levels
- Communicate effectively with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams
- Document patient encounters accurately in EMR systems
- Provide patient education on symptoms and next steps
- Coordinate care transitions between departments and facilities
- Maintain compliance with JCAHO and hospital protocols
- Collaborate with charge nurses during high-volume periods
Qualifications
- Current AZ RN license (compact license accepted)
- Minimum 3 years ER/urgent care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
- Proficiency in Epic EMR systems
- Excellent communication and de-escalation abilities
- Ability to work efficiently in high-stress environments
