Responsibilities
- Conduct rapid patient assessments to determine acuity levels
- Provide clinical guidance to patients via phone and telehealth platforms
- Coordinate with emergency department physicians and specialists
- Document patient encounters accurately in EHR systems
- Develop and implement individualized care plans
- Educate patients on appropriate healthcare resources
- Maintain compliance with JCAHO and state regulations
Qualifications
- Active NJ RN license with minimum 3 years ED experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- BSN degree strongly preferred
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
- Experience with Epic EHR systems
- Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments
- Spanish bilingualism preferred
