Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms via phone and in-person triage
- Prioritize cases based on acuity using EHR protocols
- Collaborate with physicians to determine appropriate care pathways
- Document assessments accurately in Epic systems
- Provide education to patients regarding home care or ER visits
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams for seamless patient flow
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and OSHA standards
Qualifications
- Current RN license in Minnesota
- Minimum 2 years ER or urgent care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Proficient in Epic EHR documentation
- Exceptional critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights/weekends
- Triage certification preferred
- Spanish bilingual a plus
