Responsibilities
- Conduct rapid patient assessments and prioritize cases based on urgency
- Provide accurate medical advice via phone and telehealth platforms
- Collaborate with physicians to develop patient care plans
- Document clinical encounters using EMR systems with precision
- Coordinate patient transfers and consults across departments
- Educate patients on self-care protocols and preventive measures
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas (TX)
- Minimum 2 years ER or urgent care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong clinical judgment and triage expertise
- Exceptional communication and crisis management skills
- EMR proficiency (Epic preferred)
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights/weekends
