Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms and medical history via telehealth and in-person consultations
- Prioritize cases based on urgency and acuity using established protocols
- Collaborate with physicians and specialists to coordinate patient care plans
- Document assessments and interventions accurately in electronic health records
- Provide clear patient education on home care instructions and next steps
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and regulatory standards
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Florida (FL RN)
- Minimum 3 years emergency room or urgent care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Experience with EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Exceptional communication and de-escalation abilities
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Telehealth triage certification or willingness to obtain
