Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms and prioritize cases using evidence-based triage protocols
- Provide clear, compassionate guidance to patients via phone, telehealth, and in-person consultations
- Collaborate with physicians and specialists to coordinate patient care pathways
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Implement emergency response protocols for critical situations
- Train and mentor new triage team members on best practices
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and protocol reviews
Qualifications
- Current RN license in Oklahoma with at least 2 years clinical experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required; TNCC or ENPC preferred
- Strong assessment skills with ability to recognize subtle clinical changes
- Exceptional communication skills with diverse populations
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced, high-stress environments
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
