Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms via phone and in-person triage using standardized protocols
- Prioritize patients based on medical urgency and acuity levels
- Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to develop treatment plans
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Provide education to patients regarding healthcare resources and next steps
- Monitor patient flow and optimize department efficiency
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the State of Ohio
- Minimum 2 years ER or urgent care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments
