Responsibilities
- Assess patient triage levels using Emergency Severity Index (ESI) protocols
- Provide clinical guidance via telephone and telehealth platforms
- Collaborate with physicians to develop patient care plans
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Oversee patient flow in emergency department settings
- Educate patients and families on medical procedures
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Colorado (CO)
- Minimum 3 years emergency department experience
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- BSN degree preferred (ADN with experience considered)
- Proficient in Epic EHR systems
- Exceptional critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights/weekends
