Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms via phone triage to determine urgency and appropriate care level
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and care teams to develop treatment plans
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Provide education to patients regarding self-care and follow-up procedures
- Coordinate emergency department flow and patient admissions
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety protocols
Qualifications
- Active Wisconsin RN license with minimum 2 years emergency department experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required; TNCC preferred
- Strong clinical assessment skills and critical thinking abilities
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
- Experience with Epic EHR systems or similar platforms
- Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure situations
