Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments using standardized triage protocols
- Accurately prioritize patients based on acuity and resource allocation
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop care plans
- Document all assessments and interventions in EMR systems
- Provide education to patients and families regarding emergency care processes
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and OSHA regulations
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Current RN license in Minnesota (or compact state)
- Minimum 3 years emergency or critical care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
- Proficiency in Epic EMR systems
- Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Triage certification (ENA) preferred
