Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms and medical history using advanced diagnostic equipment
- Prioritize cases based on severity using digital triage protocols
- Utilize telehealth platforms for remote consultations and virtual screenings
- Coordinate with emergency departments and specialists for seamless patient transitions
- Maintain accurate electronic health records with HIPAA-compliant systems
- Train staff on new triage technologies and equipment protocols
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives for emergency care pathways
Qualifications
- Active RN license in California (CA BRN)
- Minimum 2 years emergency room or urgent care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Proficiency in electronic health records (Epic preferred)
- Experience with telehealth platforms and remote monitoring tools
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish (bilingual preferred)
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts in fast-paced environments
