Responsibilities
- Conduct initial patient assessments and prioritize cases based on urgency
- Provide accurate medical advice via phone and telehealth platforms
- Collaborate with physicians to determine appropriate care pathways
- Maintain detailed electronic health records with precise documentation
- Coordinate patient transfers and admissions across hospital departments
- Delicate crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques
- Stay current with clinical protocols and regulatory compliance standards
Qualifications
- Current RN license in Texas (TX) with BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years emergency room or urgent care experience
- Strong triage assessment skills and clinical judgment
- Excellent communication abilities for diverse patient populations
- Proficiency in Epic EHR systems and telehealth platforms
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
