Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms via telehealth and in-person consultations to determine urgency of care
- Collaborate with physicians to prioritize patient cases and coordinate treatment plans
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Provide compassionate patient education and discharge instructions
- Monitor patient flow and adjust staffing resources as needed
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
- Support emergency response protocols during critical incidents
Qualifications
- Active California RN license with minimum 3 years clinical experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Triage certification or equivalent emergency department experience
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Exceptional critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Strong communication skills in English and Spanish (bilingual a plus)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
