Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms and medical histories to determine urgency of care
- Provide clear clinical guidance to patients via phone, video, and in-person consultations
- Collaborate with physicians and specialists to develop appropriate care plans
- Document patient interactions accurately in electronic health records (EHR)
- Coordinate emergency transfers and critical care interventions when necessary
- Educate patients on home care instructions and preventive measures
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and strict confidentiality standards
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Tennessee with 2+ years clinical experience
- BLS certification; ACLS preferred
- Strong assessment and critical thinking abilities
- Experience with telehealth platforms and EHR systems
- Exceptional communication and de-escalation skills
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced environments
- Flexibility to cover evenings, weekends, and holidays
- BSN degree or higher preferred
