Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms and prioritize care based on medical urgency
- Provide accurate triage recommendations and clinical guidance
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams
- Document patient encounters using EMR systems
- Educate patients on appropriate care pathways
- Maintain patient flow and department efficiency
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Kentucky
- Minimum 2 years emergency department experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficient in electronic medical records
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
