Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine the urgency of medical needs and triage patients appropriately.
- Utilize provided medical equipment to perform diagnostic evaluations and monitor patient vitals.
- Document patient interactions, medical histories, and treatment plans accurately in Electronic Health Records (EHR).
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop effective care plans.
- Provide clear, empathetic education to patients and families regarding symptoms, home care, and follow-up appointments.
- Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to all safety protocols and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Active RN license issued by the State of Nebraska.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably in triage or emergency nursing.
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a patient-centered approach.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and make critical decisions quickly.
