Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive symptom assessments via telephone or secure messaging platforms.
- Make appropriate clinical decisions to determine the level of care required.
- Provide accurate medical advice and triage instructions to patients.
- Coordinate patient referrals to specialists or urgent care facilities when necessary.
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient documentation in electronic health records (EHR).
- Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and clinical protocols.
- Stay updated on current clinical guidelines and best practices.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Arizona.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience, with preference given to triage or urgent care experience.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in navigating Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
- Ability to remain calm and make critical decisions under pressure.
