Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms and medical histories using standardized protocols
- Prioritize cases based on urgency and acuity levels
- Provide clear, compassionate guidance to patients via phone and telehealth
- Collaborate with physicians and care teams for seamless transitions
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Implement triage protocols for pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Nebraska (or compact state)
- Minimum 2 years emergency/urgent care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends
- BSN degree preferred
