Responsibilities
- Assess patient calls using standardized triage protocols and clinical judgment
- Document encounters in Epic EHR system with precision and timeliness
- Coordinate care with physicians, specialists, and ancillary departments
- Provide clear instructions to patients regarding home care or emergency protocols
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and Minnesota nursing regulations
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives for triage accuracy
- Collaborate with case managers for high-risk patient follow-ups
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Minnesota or compact state
- Minimum 1 year ER or urgent care experience
- BLS/CPR certification with current ACLS preferred
- Exceptional communication and critical thinking skills
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights/weekends
- Strong attention to detail under pressure
