Responsibilities
- Conduct Comprehensive Assessments: Utilize critical thinking to evaluate patient symptoms and determine the urgency of medical needs.
- Decision Making: Make immediate clinical decisions to facilitate appropriate treatment pathways.
- Documentation: Accurately document patient history, vitals, and clinical notes in our state-of-the-art EHR systems.
- Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to develop optimal care plans.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and families on preventative care and chronic disease management.
- Quality Assurance: Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Current and active RN License in Missouri (or compact state) required.
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) accepted.
- Experience: Previous triage or urgent care experience is highly desirable.
- Skills: Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and medical terminology.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a patient-centered approach.
- Resilience: Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure in high-volume settings.
