Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive phone and email assessments to evaluate patient symptoms and medical history.
- Make clinical recommendations for treatment, home care, and medication management.
- Appropriately triage and route patients to urgent care, emergency services, or primary care providers.
- Document all patient interactions and clinical findings accurately into the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
- Provide health education and wellness coaching to patients to prevent future acute care needs.
- Collaborate with physicians and other care team members to ensure continuity of care.
- Manage incoming high-volume calls with empathy and efficiency during peak hours.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Missouri.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications.
- Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent verbal communication and active listening abilities.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting with strict adherence to protocols.
- High school diploma or GED required (Bachelor’s in Nursing preferred).
- Willingness to complete the paid training program prior to full-time deployment.
