Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms and prioritize care urgency using standardized protocols
- Collaborate with physicians to develop treatment plans and coordinate care
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) with precise documentation
- Provide clear patient education on treatment plans and follow-up care
- Respond to high-volume phone triage inquiries with empathy and efficiency
- Participate in emergency response drills and quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Current Texas RN license (or compact license)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience (ER/urgent care preferred)
- BLS certification (required) - ACLS certification (preferred)
- Exceptional communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to thrive in high-pressure, fast-paced environments
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic experience a plus)
- Spanish bilingual skills highly valued
