Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms via phone and triage calls using clinical protocols
- Prioritize cases based on urgency and severity following established guidelines
- Coordinate with physicians and specialists for immediate care referrals
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Educate patients on appropriate care pathways and home management
- Collaborate with emergency services for critical incidents
- Monitor wait times and optimize patient flow throughout the facility
Qualifications
- Active RN license in California (CA RN)
- Minimum 3 years emergency or urgent care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Exceptional critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Strong communication abilities in English and Spanish (bilingual preferred)
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments
