Responsibilities
- Assess patient acuity and prioritize care in high-volume emergency settings
- Utilize advanced triage protocols and electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop care plans
- Provide compassionate patient education and discharge instructions
- Monitor vital signs and interpret diagnostic results accurately
- Document patient encounters with precision and maintain HIPAA compliance
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Current California RN license with active BLS/ACLS certification
- Minimum 3 years emergency department or urgent care experience
- BSN degree (MSN preferred)
- Proficiency in Epic or EHR systems
- Exceptional critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Strong communication abilities in diverse patient populations
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in fast-paced environments
- Spanish bilingual skills highly desirable
