Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms and medical histories using standardized triage protocols
- Communicate critical information to physicians and emergency teams
- Manage patient flow in high-pressure emergency settings
- Document assessments and interventions accurately in EMR systems
- Provide education to patients and families regarding care plans
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Ohio (or compact state)
- Minimum 2 years ER/urgent care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- Excellent communication and decision-making skills
- Proficiency with Epic EMR systems
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights/weekends
