Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms and prioritize emergency cases using triage protocols
- Collaborate with physicians to develop patient care plans
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Provide clear medical guidance to patients via phone and telehealth
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams for seamless patient flow
- Monitor vital signs and recognize critical patient changes
- Educate patients on home care and follow-up procedures
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas (or compact state)
- 2+ years emergency/urgent care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Proficient in Epic EHR systems
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication in English/Spanish preferred
- BSN degree preferred (ADN accepted with experience)
