Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms and prioritize emergency cases using clinical judgment
- Provide telehealth consultations and triage advice via phone and digital platforms
- Collaborate with physicians and care teams to coordinate patient care plans
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Educate patients on home care instructions and follow-up protocols
- Monitor patient conditions and escalate critical cases promptly
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Louisiana
- Minimum 2 years emergency room or urgent care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong assessment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Experience with EHR systems (Epic preferred)
