Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms via phone triage using clinical protocols
- Prioritize urgent cases and coordinate emergency response teams
- Document patient interactions accurately in EMR systems
- Collaborate with physicians and specialists for care escalation
- Educate patients on home care and follow-up procedures
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and confidentiality standards
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas (TX)
- Minimum 2 years ER or urgent care experience
- BLS/ACLS certification required
- Exceptional critical thinking and communication skills
- Proficient in Epic or similar EMR platforms
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced environments
