Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms and prioritize ER cases using clinical judgment
- Provide telehealth triage support via phone and video consultations
- Collaborate with physicians to develop patient care plans
- Document patient encounters accurately in EMR systems
- Train new staff on triage protocols and best practices
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas (compact license preferred)
- 3+ years ER or urgent care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong decision-making under pressure
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Experience with Epic EMR systems
