Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms via phone and in-person triage to prioritize care urgency
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams for critical case management
- Document patient interactions accurately in EMR systems
- Provide clear health education to patients and families
- Maintain HIPAA compliance during all communications
- Respond efficiently to high-volume emergency scenarios
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Nevada
- Minimum 2 years emergency/urgent care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Exceptional critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Strong communication abilities in high-stress environments
- Experience with Epic EMR systems preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts with flexible availability
