Responsibilities
- Assess patient acuity levels using standardized triage protocols within 3 minutes of arrival
- Collaborate with physicians to prioritize critical cases and streamline ER workflows
- Maintain accurate electronic health records with real-time documentation
- Provide emergency medical guidance via telehealth for remote patients
- Train incoming staff on triage procedures and emergency protocols
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active DC nursing license with minimum 2 years ER experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- Proficiency in Epic EHR systems and telehealth platforms
- Demonstrated ability to handle high-pressure trauma situations
- Exceptional communication skills in English and Spanish preferred
- Master's degree in Emergency Nursing preferred
