Responsibilities
- Assess patient acuity using standardized triage protocols within 5 minutes of arrival
- Collaborate with physicians to prioritize critical cases and streamline care pathways
- Document electronic health records with 100% accuracy and timeliness
- Provide patient education on emergency procedures and discharge instructions
- Coordinate interdisciplinary care teams including specialists, social workers, and transport services
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA, EMTALA, and Joint Commission standards
Qualifications
- Current RN license in Minnesota with at least 2 years ER experience
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- ENPC or TNCC certification preferred
- Proficiency in Epic EMR system
- Demonstrated ability to handle high-stress situations with composure
- Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish (bilingual preferred)
