Responsibilities
- Assess patient needs via phone triage using clinical judgment protocols
- Document encounters accurately in EMR systems while maintaining HIPAA compliance
- Coordinate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams for urgent cases
- Educate patients on care pathways and discharge instructions
- Manage high-volume call centers during peak hours
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Maintain infection control and safety standards
Qualifications
- Active WI RN license (compact state preferred)
- 3+ years ER/urgent care or telehealth triage experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Proficiency in Epic or similar EMR systems
- Exceptional communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work rotating weekends/holidays
- BSN or higher degree preferred
