Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms and medical histories to prioritize care urgency
- Provide accurate triage protocols and clinical guidance to patients via phone/in-person
- Collaborate with physicians to coordinate appropriate care pathways
- Maintain precise documentation in EHR systems with HIPAA compliance
- Manage high-volume patient inquiries during peak hours
- Implement emergency response protocols for critical situations
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Nevada with BSN preferred
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in emergency/urgent care
- ACLS/BLS certifications with current renewal
- Proficiency in Epic or EHR triage systems
- Exceptional critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Strong communication skills with diverse populations
