Responsibilities
- Conduct accurate telephone and in-person patient assessments using standardized triage protocols
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to prioritize patient care needs
- Document clinical encounters meticulously in EMR systems with precision
- Provide clear patient education on treatment plans and home care instructions
- Manage patient flow and coordinate with ancillary departments for seamless care delivery
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and emergency response drills
Qualifications
- Active RN license in California with current BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of acute care or triage experience
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
- Proficiency in Epic or similar EMR systems
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure with emotional resilience
- Bachelor's in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Triage certification (ENPC/ATCN) highly desirable
