Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms and prioritize emergency cases using ESI protocols
- Provide accurate medical advice via telehealth and phone consultations
- Collaborate with physicians to coordinate patient care pathways
- Document patient encounters in Epic EMR systems
- Maintain HIPAA compliance in all communications
- Train incoming staff on triage procedures and protocols
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
- Minimum 1 year ER or urgent care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications
- Exceptional critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights/weekends
- Proficiency in electronic medical records
- Spanish bilingual preferred
- BSN degree preferred (ADN accepted with experience)
