Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough telephone triage assessments to determine patient urgency and appropriate care pathways
- Utilize clinical judgment to prioritize incoming patient calls based on acuity level
- Document patient interactions accurately in Epic electronic health records
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and specialists to coordinate patient care
- Provide clear, empathetic patient education and discharge instructions
- Monitor and respond to patient callbacks within established timeframes
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Nevada or compact state
- Minimum 1 year ER, urgent care, or telehealth experience preferred
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and de-escalation abilities
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights and weekends
- Proficient in electronic medical record systems (Epic preferred)
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Commitment to completing paid training program (8 weeks)
